Many business leaders stress over how to keep up in a competitive business world where things now change even before you finish reading this post.    The pace of emerging technology only increases the pressure to stay well-informed.    Budgets are not what they used to be when it comes to flying all over the world to attend the latest conference to absorb information, particularly those on Artificial Intelligence.    But here's a secret weapon that just might help you stay ahead of the curve.

In just about 15 hours from the moment this post goes live, you'll be able to learn all about the latest developments in artificial intelligence at the AI & Intelligence Automation APAC.    Can't make it to Singapore by 9am, July 18?

No worries.

Everyone is logging on through virtual means from around the world to attend this event via their computer, smartphone or tablet.    AI & Intelligent Automation Live is AIIA Network and IQPC’s first digital event in APAC.    IQPC is a leading event organization, and this latest production is only part of a series of robotics, AI and intelligent automation online events the group has been running throughout 2018, to provide thought-leadership and help drive innovation in this space.

The trend seems to be catching on.    IQPC reports that, to date, over 2000 people have registered to dial in and listen to the online conference from over 30 different countries.

Such a format means that there are no flights for which to run, no schmoozing and no demeaning, groupie line up to get to the rockstar speaker after he or she finishes speaking as if you were waiting to get past the velvet ropes and into the hottest nightclub. No, this is a more direct approach from the comfort of one's own office, living room or maybe even bedroom.

The intent of the event is to explore how Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Automation can revolutionize one's enterprise. "Artificial intelligence is an exciting and disruptive force," explains Sally Fletcher, Head of Online Events, IQPC Digital. " Those that invest in the right solutions and implement them correctly are securing a competitive edge. However, the gap between those who have and haven’t taken advantage of AI and Intelligent Automation is widening so we thought we'd offer this conference."

Given the number of unsatisfactory AI pilots in various offices, there is a need for a blue-print-of-sorts in terms of implementation. Leaders in the space will discuss such tactics. Free to attend, executives can dial in from wherever they are and listen to global AI and IA experts live or on-demand. A range of topics including shifting from RPA to intelligent automation, scaling-up, talent management, security and governance and customer experience will be covered.

In addition, downloadable mp3 recordings of all presentations, as well as slides, will be made available. There is also the ability to chat with presenters, of which I am one, and attendees.

Speakers include,Yuval Dvir, Head of Partnerships, Google; Moorthy LG, SVP and Global Head of Business Services, Olam International and Manish Rai, VP, Automation Anywhere.    The event will be chaired by Andy Gillard, APAC Intelligent Automation Lead, EY.

AI & Intelligence Automation APAC content will be a mix of the practical and the inspirational merging blue-sky sessions on future trends and AI: workplace and ethics. Looks like the future is definitely now.
