Stamford High School is launching a new program that will allow students to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and an associate degree.
The Early College Studies program will begin this fall with 50 incoming freshmen, making Stamford one of only three districts in the county and about five in the state to allow students to work on a college degree while still in high school.
