The five highest performing cloud computing stocks year-to-date in the Cloud Computing Index are    Juniper Networks JNPR +6.57% (NYSE:JNPR), Fusion-IO (NYSE: FIO), F5 Networks FFIV +2.43% (NASDAQ: FFIV)    Riverbed Technology    (NASDAQ:RVBD) and Workday (NYSE:WDAY). A $10K investment in Juniper Networks shares made on January 2th of 2014 is worth $12,331.00 as of market close Friday, and $10K invested in Workday shares are worth $10,883.00.    IBM, Microsoft, Oracle and SAP share prices are included for comparison.



Of the enterprise software stocks tracked in the Cloud Computing Index, Workday (NYSE:WDAY) continues successfully compete and win against entrenched on-premise enterprise software competitors whose cost structures slow down their ability to compete with faster, more agile cloud competitors.    Over the last year, Workday shares have appreciated 63.61% attaining a market cap today of $15.56B.
